3. Press and hold the setup button on your universal remote until it displays its flashlight to indicate that it is now in the learning mode.
4. Enter the keycode provided on the instruction booklet on the programming guide. It is the final stage.
5. Once you are done with this last stage above, you should then point your remote to the device you are working on. In this, our own case, the TV and press and hold the power button on your remote.
6. At this point, you can release the power button to see if the TV screen will go off. If it does go off, it means, the programming is functional. If you noticed that the programming is not functioning, then repeat the same steps with another code provided on the instruction manual.
How to Program your Logik Universal Remote Using Code Search Method
I have mentioned how you can program your remote control using the code search method. The method is very simple but may take a longer time to execute compared to the first two methods mentioned above. The extra time really worth it because this method will surely help you find the right code. As usual, there is a 3 digit code in the manual of your remote which when entered, forces your remote into search mode.
The instructions:
1. Turn on your Device before any other procedure.
2. Press and hold the setup button
3. Enter the 3 digit code thus: 9-9-1
4. Hold down your remote’s power button and then press the channel up until the device you are working on in this our example, TV, turns off.
