How you can Turn on Philips Soundbar htl2101a or htl2111a Without Remote
This is done by using a mobile remote app or a universal remote from the following GE, RCA, ONE for all brands, or Philips universal remotes.
Xfinity Method to Turn Philips Soundbar On
You can use these two codes for this method: 32459 or 32311.
The volume button works fine with AUX but does not work with the power button unless you fix the error by applying these steps below:
- Press the TV button once.
- Then, hold the setup button on any of the Universal remote you decide to use.
- Enter 9 9 3 on your remote manually.
- Press the TV button so it can blink twice.
- After which you should press the AUX button one time.
- The AUX button should display the flashlight twice.
- You can now turn off or down your TV speaker.
- Lastly, push the Cable button once.
Note: the volume button controls only Philips soundbar volume excluding the TV. The power button cannot switch off your Philips soundbar.
How to Search Codes Using silver Philips Soundbar remote with a red OK or Select button
- Switch on your Philips Soundbar.
- You can now press and release the AUX button.
- You should then hold the setup button on your remote until the tv button blinks twice on the remote.
- As soon as you release the setup button on your remote, enter the 9 9 3
- The AUX button will blink twice.
- Point your remote to your Philips soundbar and press the power button.
- You can now hold on to the CH+ button until your soundbar turns off.
- Your remote control will send IR code from its library to the selected device if you are using the search code method.
- In this case, press the setup button on your remote once so it will lock the code.
- If it is done correctly, the AUX key will blink two times.
Directv or ATT with Directv Remote Control Method
- Switch on your Philips Soundbar.
- Keep the volume of the soundbar up but should be muted.
- Select either AV1 or AV2.
- Continue holding the Mute and Select button at the same time until you receive 2 blinks.
- Enter the 9 9 1 code and wait for 2 blinks.
- Enter the number 3.
- You can now press and release the Vol Up.
- Point the remote at your Philips soundbar and continue to press select to lock the current code.
In the case where the DirecTV remote controls the power button of the Philips Soundbar instead of the volume button, try these steps:
- Click on either AV1 or AV2 to select either of them.
- Press and hold the Select and Mute buttons on your universal remote.
- You should wait for 2 blinks and then release the buttons.
- Enter the 3 digit code 9 9 3.
- You can then press the select button.

The auto search method is the process through which the codes are scanned one after the other until you find the code that works with your device. Here are the instructions to follow:
- Switch on your device in this case TV so that you can operate it.
- Turn on your remote, and tap on your device button which is remote for 3 seconds. The LED will display to indicate that your device is ready to be programmed.
- Point your remote control at the TV and then click the CH+ and CH- switch buttons and the remote will show on and off signals. You can then press the up or down key endlessly until the TV or the device selected turns off.
- You should now verify the code by tapping on the power button. The TV should turn on. If it happens so, then change the channel to confirm that your remote control is programmed correctly.
- Click on the TV or the selected device button to save your code. The LED of your device will blink two times to confirm that the code is stored.
How to Program your Philips Soundbar Universal Remote with Manual Method
You can use the keycode method to search for your program. The keycode will search the make and model of the device or equipment.
- Turn on your device or TV in this case.
- Press the TV or device on your Philips Soundbar Universal Remote control.
- Press and hold the setup button on your Universal Remote Control for Philips Soundbar to see if the remote displays the Light Flash to indicate it is activated to the learning mode.
- Type the code collected from your remote’s instruction booklet.
